Mount Olivet’s main building, Ruth Youngdahl Lodge, was built in 1976 and was our first structure. Ruth Youngdahl Lodge is where we’ll greet you when you arrive. It houses our offices, dining room, conference rooms and an intimate prayer chapel.

Ruth Youngdahl Lodge’s dining room and four conference rooms make it a perfect place for corporate retreats, youth retreats, men's and women’s groups and the like.

All rooms in the Ruth Youngdahl Lodge are equipped with high speed wireless internet access and are air conditioned.

The Trillium Dining Room, located on the upper level of Ruth Youngdahl Lodge, has a beverage bar with complimentary fruit, yogurt and beverages available to our guests
24 hours a day.



Ruth Youngdahl was the mother of Paul M. Youngdahl D.D., Senior Pastor of Mount Olivet Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and wife of former senior pastor, Rueben Youngdahl. The Mount Olivet Conference & Retreat Center Lodge was named after Ruth in honor of all the work she did for the Lord in serving the congregation of Mount Olivet Lutheran Church
